Multiple Crisis

Either I had really lousy bad planning or the adjustment is harder than I thought. I had to put out a couple of fires...

First I realize on the third day of working, 2 of the working clothes that I bought cannot be wore to work. Luckily Professional Shopoholic a.k.a Moo Moo Girl works nearby. Sent her an S.O.S and immediately she whisked me to this Shopping place in Bugis. In 1/2 hour I walked away with 4 new brand blouses. And so crisis was avoided. Dunno what I will do without her. Though the blouses will not be what I buy under normal circumstances but hey this is an emergency. Moo Moo said wait until year end, G2000 got this sale and I can get the dull shirts that I wanted.

Got my EP (Employer Permit) on Tuesday. HR informed me cutoff for payroll is Wednesday. So had to take time off to open an account. Being the Chinese that I am, they told me Citibank can open a savings account without any deposits. So I went to the branch, asked them about it and confirmed that I can get the account on the day itself. Sure, they promised me the sun, the moon and a couple of credit cards, all which I have rejected except for 1 VISA which looked like a pretty good deal. But in the end, they said the account can only be opened in 3 - 4 days. 3 - 4 days, I could have died! Now you know there is no such thing as free lunch. Of course I made noises and complained that they promised they can deliver bla bla... and you know what reason they gave me? Said my occupation high risk. Of all the stupid excuses...... my occupation high risk? It was then I knew, I shall not waste my time to argue with them idiots anymore. However my lunch hour was utilized so, I went back to my office and nego with my HR. Lucky HR here quite understanding, they will make an exception for me if I can get back to them on Thursday morning. So early Thursday morning, I went to POSB to deposit SGD500.00 and got an account opened in less than 1 hour. Some of you will probably be dying to tell me that, I would have save all those hassle if I went to POSB in the first place. Yeah... easy for you to say, when you don't have your 2 month's salary on hold and SGD500.00 is a really big amount from this point of view. To cut story short, I still made it in time for payroll.

This whole work, I had constipation too. Must be stressed of putting out fires. Anyway thank God it's Friday. Today is casual wear, means jeans... I miss them.
